Merv’s in depth knowledge and experience in the First Nations, provincial and federal politics as well as his understanding of the private sector make him an excellent advocate for his clients in any negotiation situation. His extensive experience in policy and programming, particularly in remote community energy and natural resources, have equipped him to work closely with First Nations in order to develop projects successfully and efficiently.
Merv has served as Senior Policy Advisor, Natural Resources for Nishnawbe-Aski Nation and Policy Analyst, Aboriginal Issues for the Ontario Ministry of Northern Development and Mines.
Merv holds a Bachelor of Public Administration (Honours).
